Bringing Style and Grace to Saratoga County: Bow Tie Cinemas

With a successful history of opening movie theaters in historic downtowns, coupled with their slogan of bringing style and grace back to the movie theater experience, Bow Tie Cinemas, the nation’s eighth largest movie theater chain and America’s oldest theater circuit, looked to New York’s Capital Region to add locations after the successful launch of Movieland 6 in Downtown Schenectady.

Intending on expanding their footprint in the greater Capital Region, the company set to open two new theaters in Saratoga County, including the first new movie theater in Downtown Saratoga Springs in over 30 years and a full scale renovation of a former cinema at Wilton Mall.

Working with Relentless on media coordination and focused outreach, Bow Tie held two media tours to media outlets in the five-county region to promote the opening of Criterion Cinemas 11 and the Wilton Mall Cinemas, which earned several pieces of coverage in print, on television, online, and on radio.
